Arundel Nature and Science Centre owned and operated by the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board was once a tranquil working family farm in 1875. Many of the same buildings have  been modernized and attract a variety of groups to our centre: school groups, corporate meeting/training groups, community and non-organizations,  urban groups seeking fresh air as well as private functions such as weddings, reunions, etc.  Our main buildings are:  The Barn, Farm House, Arts Centre, and Science Centre. Each of these facilities has areas for group assemblies.

We have many technological tools which can assist your groups’ visit; high speed internet, cell phone reception, video conferencing, LCD Projector, Smart Board, etc.

The Barn
This facility has a large industrial kitchen with industrial appliances. It is complete with cooking pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, etc. to prepare your own meals if desired.  There is a separate staff eating area.  On the other side of the kitchen you will find our large dining area.  The dining area can also be used as a meeting area for groups.

Farm House
The Farm House was once a family home in 1875.  Today, the large living room with rustic charm is great for gathering at the end of the day and reviewing the days’ adventures.

Science Centre
This structure is home to our science discovery centre.  Here you can explore and discover the fauna and flora of our forests. This space can be used as a meeting area as well as a classroom.  There are two levels to work in with a small kitchen and washrooms.
